?Who are we
The Libyan Business Council was established in 2003 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization
It acquired its legal status and independent financial standing by virtue of Cabinet Resolution No. (333) of 2012.
We operate independently from our headquarters in Benghazi, guided by an elected Board of Directors, chaired by Mr. Fahmi Al-Jahmi. Our aim is to unite business leaders in Libya and contribute to the development of the national economy by empowering and strengthening the role of the private sector as a key and active partner in the development process.
Our Mission: The Libyan Business Council aspires to activate and highlight the role of the local private sector, enabling it to be a fundamental contributor to revitalizing the national economy and contributing to its sustainable development. We strive to achieve this by supporting and developing private institutions, companies, and factories operating in various economic sectors.
